WOO! I made it. So this is for Borra week… i hope it isn’t too unclear. I made Korra the Moon spirit (design based off Yeu) and Bolin the Keukuatsheu character (the wolverine, eventhough wolverines aren’t wolves they’er in the Mustelidae family. (weasels) So yeah. The myth of this story is one based off of the story that Kayla Tells Logan in X men Origins: Wolverine… Really this was the only myth i could think of For Borra week Mythology catagory… I hope you all like it

So Buffy died in season 1, and then Faith became the slayer.
But when Buffy died in season 5, why did no other girl get the slayer powers?
I had just written, that I don’t know and keep asking myself this when I had an idea: When Buffy died, Kendra became the Slayer. So officially Kendra was the latest Slayer until she died and then passed her duties on to Faith when she died. If we consider that it’s actually a mythical force we’re dealing with, I could imagine that the next Slayer would now only be called if Faith died. Because Buffy is not really the most recent Slayer anymore. I’d compare it to a relay race. The first runner has the (what’s it called in English? the stick thingy they pass on…) and starts running. This would be Buffy. She then passes it to Kendra who passes it to Faith. Buffy keeps on running along with Kendra and Faith but only Faith can hand the thingy over to the next one. Buff still keeps her powers because in the end when the potential Slayers come up it becomes clear that their powers are there all the time, they just have to be unlocked by a Slayer’s death. Once unlocked they cannot be locked again. So Buffy keeps her powers and everything but in the mythical force’s sense Faith it the “real” Slayer now.
